In the last few decades, Europe has experienced drastic changes in gender roles, educational opportunities, social mobility, access to healthcare, and the socio-economic integration of ethnic minorities. What is shared by all these processes is that they have remained incomplete. The conference will provide a forum to discuss recent accomplishments in overcoming inequalities and the challenges that have hindered the full realization of these revolutions.

The 3-day conference will be hosted by the Socio-Demography Group (DemoSoc) of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra of Barcelona. As hosts, we are very pleased to invite you to participate in the conference and hope to see you all in September in Barcelona!
